2 Day Las Vegas Itinerary: What To See and Do
If you gotta fit Las Vegas in two days, don’t worry — you can easily see a lot of the top attractions and spots in the city! Plus, you’ll even have time left over to get some awesome vacation photography, whether you’re searching for a cool anniversary idea or a great way to celebrate a major milestone in your life, like an engagement or graduation. Our Las Vegas photographer can help, but, in the meantime, here’s how you can plan out an awesome two days in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas Itinerary for Couples
Shop, Shop, Shop
One of the best things to do while in Vegas is to shop, but you don’t necessarily have to spend a lot of money to still enjoy the Vegas shopping experience. Window shopping can be just as fun! The Forum Shops at Caesars are totally cool, with mammoth sculptures and artistic elements representing ancient Rome. The Venetian Hotel and Casino offers shops right off the canal, so you can float along in your very own gondola as you window shop. Plus, both of these venues offer an interesting backdrop for your vacation photos.
Drinks and a Show
On the first night of your trip, see a show! Deck yourself out in your best party clothes, visit a bar or two and then grab a front-row seat. Good luck picking just one! There are so many musical acts, magicians, acrobatic troupes, comedy shows and more that you need to make your pick wisely.
Foodie Tour
End your day with an awesome foodie tour. Las Vegas offers several providers, but Lip Smacking Foodie Tours makes sure you hit five different favorites at some of the top culinary spots in Vegas. You get the total VIP treatment and it’s an experience you’re sure to talk about with your traveling companions for years to come.
Las Vegas Itinerary for Family with Kids
Hit the Buffet
If you are going to do Las Vegas in two days, first things first… you’re going to need some adventure fuel and the best place to get that is at a Vegas buffet. Whichever one you choose (your hotel is just about guaranteed to have one, no matter where you’re staying), take advantage of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to carbo-load and experience some awesome cuisine all under one price.
Adrenaline
Shed all your inhibitions and go on an adrenaline-packed adventure! Try the Big Apple Coaster at the New York-New York Hotel or see the strip from a different vantage point, with a helicopter tour of the city. You can even have some tour providers fly you out to the nearby Grand Canyon! With two days in Las Vegas, you can probably even fit two of these activities into your schedule if you plan it out well enough.
Hire a Photographer
When was the last time everyone in the family was in the same photo? Book a photoshoot with a local photographer to take you to some of the best photo spots in town. The Bellagio fountains, the High Roller Ferris Wheel, or maybe something a little more unknown… Have you ever heard about the Neon Museum? It is a 2.62-acre open-air museum full of amazing photo ops! There are signs from old casinos, a restored lobby shell, and so much more. If you are interested, check out our list of the 3 best Las Vegas photographers.
