I selected Orlando using Local Lens to photograph our surprise engagement and he captured our special moment beautifully. We were traveling to Barcelona from the United States and I was very nervous about planning an engagement at a location I had never been to before.

Orlando literally made it all happen! We connected in the weeks leading up to our trip and planned the time, meeting point, and vision. Upon arriving, I could see Orlando and he made sure my fiance did not notice him, pulling off the perfect surprise engagement. Orlando captured the entire proposal with beautiful angles, perfectly capturing our happiness and backdrop.

We had the most fantastic experience with Karla from Local Lens for our engagement shoot in Volksgarten, Vienna. From the moment we met her, she was incredibly friendly, outgoing, and approachable, which instantly made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. I’ve used other travel photography services but was beyond impressed with the professionalism, quality and turnaround times of Local Lens. Gaylin was helpful in suggesting lots of different locations around the island for us to take photos and even ended up driving to meet us on the South side the morning of our shoot when she realized the weather wasn’t ideal on the North side where we had originally planned to shoot. Silvia gave us such a gift by shooting our surprise engagement photos in Venice! I knew I wanted to propose to my girlfriend Faith during our Italian vacation, and when I reached out on Local Lens, Silvia provided several excellent suggestions on locations and ideal times (sunset, golden hour, etc.) during our stay in Venice.

After reviewing her suggestions for gondolas, bridges, and canal locations, I settled on a perfect bridge that she suggested, which was outside the main tourist district. It was the perfect location for Silvia to covertly capture our special moment as it happened (and Faith even said yes ;D).

Bruna and her partner (I believe Nicola, sorry if I'm wrong!) were the most amazing couple to work with. We had such a breathtaking experience with them, from start to finish. My proposal was on Sat 18th Jan 2025, where the weather in Lake Garda is very questionable.

Both Bruna and her partner remained super flexible, making suggestions on different locations, and even moved the day to only 24 hours to go so that we could have the most amazing sunset ever (and avoid the rain), and it was the best decision. It would not have been possible without their kind, considerate, and detailed approach.
