Where to Travel After COVID-19
Our team is staying home all around the world in an effort to fight COVID-19, and we can’t help but think of all the places we’ll want to go when this is all behind us. Our industry is badly hurt right now, but travel always bounces back, and we’ll be here when the world is ready to travel again. So for now, let’s go on adventures from our couches, patios, studios, or desks to dream of faraway lands and all the memories you’ll make there.
Continue below to see where we’ll be going later this year!
Bali
Imagine terraced green rice hills and those epic Instagram Bali photos in an infinity pool over the jungle. Bali has had no shortage of visitors, and its tourism industry is booming. Most head to Ubud first, but there are plenty of home and farm stays for those looking for a more local experience. We like a balance of both, the luxury hotel for a few days and a remote jungle cabin (or a treehouse!) for some other days. In Bali, you can get epic photos at waterfalls, rice terraces, beaches, canyons, historic sites, and luxury hotels. 📸 by Toyoda
The Bahamas
Picture family photos at Atlantis or a capturing a proposal on the beach in Nassau. The Bahamas is always an affordable and quick getaway for those in North America. If you’re a beach lover, you can’t miss Paradise Cove or Cable Beach, 2 of the best beaches in the Bahamas. Enjoy crystal clear warm waters and white sand, and food and nightlife to entertain everyone in your party. By the end of your trip to Nassau, you’ll be on island time and not want to leave! 📸 by Malvin
Istanbul
At the intersection of Asia & Europe, Istanbul provides travelers with a mix of cosmopolitan culture and a long complicated history. Istanbul now hosts some of the best architectural places to visit in the world that make for stunning photos. A vacation to Istanbul would be incomplete without a dip in a Turkish bath or visit to a busy market! 📸 by Recep
Marrakesh
Marrakesh – the markets are overflowing with life and the palaces are jaw-dropping photo spots. As one of Northern Africas most alluring cities, foodies, fashionistas, history buffs, and outdoor lovers will all find joy in Marrakesh. Photoshoots in Marrakesh are popular for photos at Bahia palace as well as the spice markets. 📸 by Amine
Cabo San Lucas
The southern point of the Baja California brings fun in the sun for families, honeymooners, luxury travelers, bachelorette parties, and beach bums alike. Cabo is well-known for its desert beaches, luxury resorts, and non-stop nightlife, those looking for a party will find it here. For something more low key – just down the way is San Jose del Cabo, which is a more laid back beach town vibe full of locally-run boutiques, patio restaurants, and cobbled streets. You can book a 90 minute or 2-hour photoshoot with a Cabo photographer and go on a boat ride to get photos at lovers beach and by the arches in Cabo (also a great proposal idea!). 📸 by Elizabeth
Chiang Mai
A city in northern Thailand, Chiang Mai is the kind of place you’ll arrive and never want to leave. Beautiful scenery, incredible food, and cultural sites on every corner make it a great destination for those that like a more relaxed pace with a dash of nature and a lot of cultures. Visit elephant sanctuaries, attend a Thai cooking class, spend the day at the spa, and ride a bike through rolling fields for a strong change of pace from the chaos of Bangkok. 📸 by Suri
Cartagena
Cartagena sweeps you off your feet the moment you check into your hotel. There is no lack of color, history, shopping, or nightlife in one of the most beautiful cities in South America. Cartagena combines high luxury rise hotels with an ancient walled city and places it all on the beach. You’ll get photos that seem like they are straight out of a Spanish romance novel! 📸 by Alvaro
Paris
We love Paris in the fall. Photos at the Eiffel Tower or the Louvre with the trees changing colors and then sipping on a coffee at a cute cafe is the stuff travel dreams are made of. Enjoy Montemarte at sunset, a dinner cruise along the Seine, or have a picnic in the Jardin du Luxembourg. 📸 by Daria
Sitges
We’re headed to the ‘Jewel on the Mediterranean’ ASAP. Sitges offers many facets to cater for all tastes. Known to offer 300 days of sunshine per year, it is a cute little coastal town is surrounded by the hills of the Garraf National Park. Sitges old town has those typically Spanish narrow streets leading down to a palm tree-lined promenade that runs along an open bay with its many beaches. It’s just dying for you to run around and snap amazing photos! 📸 by Julia
Krakow
Krakow was the former capital of Poland and is a city full of history and architecture. The 13th and 14th-century buildings are well preserved making the Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is a great spot for photos in Krakow. Alongside all the history is a hip and modern culture emerging – trendy cafe’s, clubs, restaurants, and galleries are popping up every day. We love this city for its beauty, perseverance, and friendly locals despite its complicated history. 📸 by Anna
