Puerto Vallarta is known to be one of the friendliest cities in all of Mexico. Downtown Vallarta has plenty of options to entertain for days, and the sail boat shaped pier is the icon of downtown. At night it illuminates beautifully, and during the day you can see the stretch of the Banderas Bay.
