Best Place for a Picnic Proposal in San Diego

San Diego could be America’s favorite town. It’s got year round great weather, beaches, rugged hills, and a great food and art scene. If you are thinking of proposing in this charming city, there are tons of great places to choose from.

One of the top places to propose in San Diego is Windansea Beach (see it on Google Maps). This is one of our favorite beaches along the La Jolla coast because it offers so much. The beach is very diverse with many large rocks for taking shelter from the wind or hot sun, narrow rock coves that are beautiful and fun to watch fill up with water during high tide, and large rocks out in the water that are perfect to jump off of. During a summer weekend this beach is very crowded! Get there by 8:30am or earlier if you want any shelter from the sun near the big rocks.
